WELCOME TO STRINGYBARK PUBLISHING
Bespoke publishers since 2010
About Stringybark Publishing
Do you have an urge to get your book into print? An anthology of your best short stories? A book of poems? A memoir? A family history? Your travels around Western Australia in a Volkswagen Beetle?
No matter what subject has inspired you to write a book, we are happy to help you publish your work to a professional standard. We have been assisting authors to get their words into print since 2010 when we published our first anthology, The Umbrella's Shade. Since then we have published over fifty books both in paperback and as ebooks. We specialise in small print runs that few other printers or designers are interested in. Whether it's 400 copies you need or only three (an 80th birthday present for Auntie Marge), we are committed to helping you to achieve your dream of a professionally published work.
The styles of books have ranged from our petite A5 anthologies to thick image-intensive history books such as Kerr Brothers in the New Hebrides by Katherine Stirling Kerr Cawsey (2017). We print in full colour on heavy card to light weight black and white and everything in between.
"We discussed all expectations in regard to every aspect of the book – from font, to proofreading, layout, paper, cover etc. I was provided with a professional quote including a breakdown of all costs as well as approximate labour hours required for each task.
David was in constant contact throughout the publishing process, consulting me regarding possible alternatives. Many of which were small details I hadn't thought of, but added to the beauty of the book. The finished product was professional and beautiful. I was absolutely delighted with the end result." – Holly Bruce (2017) Author of Groundless
